Role Summary

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for designing and releasing high-performance antennas for Rivian's electric vehicles. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Director of Electrical Hardware to develop and implement cutting-edge antenna solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop antennas for Rivian's programs, ensuring best-in-class performance, cost, and quality.
  • Analyze and document design trade-offs, creating antenna designs that meet key requirements such as coverage, efficiency, gain, isolation, and cost.
  • Develop and implement test plans, conducting bench, chamber, and vehicle-level testing to characterize antenna performance.
  • Drive product delivery and validation schedules, releasing designs into product life management systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to participate in antenna technology roadmaps and novel technology investigations.
Qualifications
  • BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of measurement equipment for antenna characterization and system performance validation.
  • Experience with PLM, scheduling, and MPL tools.
  • Proficiency in antenna simulation tools, MATLAB, and programming languages such as C and Python.
  • Strong communication and data analysis skills, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
