About the Role

This position is an excellent opportunity to join Young Life, a renowned organization dedicated to serving youth and empowering leaders. As a Staff Associate I, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various departments that provide mission services and facilitate effective functioning of the entire operations segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spiritual Development: Foster a vibrant spiritual life through prayer, fellowship, growth, and health, while maintaining relationships with church communities.
  • Leadership Development: Equip leaders, committees, and staff by recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers, as well as developing strategic plans to build a leadership team.
  • Resource Development: Fuel the ministry through events, donor care, public relations, and team development.
  • Direct Ministry: Engage in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camp activities, leading teams to plan and execute programs with excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience in direct ministry, preferably with proven relational skills with kids and adults.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to handle extreme conditions at camps, including heat, cold, dirt, long hours, and physical demands.
