Job Summary

Job Title: Warehouse Attendant

Location: Wholesale st 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products
  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
  • Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lines
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments
  • Mark materials with identifying information
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly by other workers
  • Use computers to enter records
  • Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
  • Drive vehicles to transport stored items or to pick up items
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
  • Prepare parcels for mailing
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Perform other duties as assigned
