Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Med Tech-Memory Care Specialist to join our team at Avamere at Yakima. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents with memory care needs.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and updating service plans.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies, providing first aid assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery and support.
  • Document resident changes and complete reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in memory care.
  • CMA certification preferred.
  • Must have either HCA or CNA license.
  • First Aid & CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders.
