Reliability Engineer

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our Energy Services - Supply Chain group in Garyville, LA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving asset reliability improvements across the plant, addressing day-to-day operational and maintenance issues, and developing long-term plans to address key loss areas.

• Develop and implement policies, practices, and procedures to improve reliability and ensure robust mechanical integrity programs that comply with industry codes and company standards.
• Develop equipment maintenance and reliability strategies, establish common SAP equipment hierarchy, BOMs, master data, and develop resolution plans for maintenance items in the plant.
• Address day-to-day issues in the plant, participate on teams to provide a maintenance perspective, and manage and interface with Jacobs Contract maintenance on site.
• Assure work is performed safely, correctly, and on schedule, and address issues between Nalco and Jacobs to achieve desired results.
• Work with project leaders to ensure contractors on site meet all safety requirements and are performing the desired work in the field properly.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, with a proven track record of success in maintenance, reliability, and construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong maintenance management skills, and interpersonal savvy and problem-solving abilities.
