CNC Machinist

Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the productivity of our organization by operating a variety of CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and products.
• Develop and implement efficient machining methods and tooling concepts to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tooling packages and tool selection.
• Contribute to cycle time reduction and setup time reduction initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve machining-related issues.
• Set up and operate machinery, including manual machinery such as Bridgeport and Lathe.
• Read and edit G and M code as needed.

Requirements:

• Certificate Program with a minimum of 6 years' CNC Programming experience.
• Ability to read and edit machine programming language.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Able to set up and run a machine.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Sigma/Lean a plus.
• Experience with HAAS Machines.
• Ability to operate manual machinery (Bridgeport, Lathe).
• Ability to implement manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform in-process quality inspection on parts.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• US Citizenship required.
