Job Summary

Spherion is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at our Alachua, FL facility. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly operations using large tools. Your ability to work on mechanics and read blueprints will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of assembly operations including electrical, welding, and mechanical
  • Review specifications to determine assembly and special options
  • Check bins for adequate supplies
  • Ensure connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school or GED preferred
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Ability to work on mechanics
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $18 - $19 per hour.
