Senior Financial Services Analyst

Compensation:
$65-67/hr W2
Due to client policies, all candidates must be eligible to work directly on Experis' W2; third-party suppliers and referral fees are not permitted.
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the Fixed Income Etrading Platform, which serves Global Wealth Management and Capital Markets.
- Engage with business units, subject matter experts, and technical teams to define and implement solutions that align with business goals.
- Utilize established methodologies and tools to oversee the planning, elicitation, analysis, validation, and management of requirements, business processes, and high-level solution designs.
- Document detailed functional and technical specifications for business requirements, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
- Provide estimates for systems analysis tasks and facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the functionalities and design decisions, ensuring traceability of software requirements to business needs.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, including Epic grooming, story grooming, and sprint planning.
- Support UAT and SIT testers by clarifying requirements and determining the nature of defects.
- Collaborate with the development team to analyze production issues and identify root causes.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business analyst capacity within an Agile environment.
- Extensive background in the Financial Services industry, particularly in Fixed Income and Capital Markets.
- Proficient in crafting quality user stories and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex solutions to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience in documenting system requirements as user stories and high-level designs, ensuring they are actionable and testable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and writing Database SQL Queries.
