About the Opportunity
Atrium Health seeks a BE/BC inpatient trained Neurologist to contribute to our Neurology team at The Neurosciences Institute in Concord.
The Neurology Department at Atrium Health is a network of 70+ neurology providers with 15+ care locations, offering comprehensive stroke care services.
We are looking for a Neurologist with expertise in vascular training to join our Neurohospitalist team at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a Joint Commission designated Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and Level III trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient neurology care to patients with various neurological conditions.
- Pursue vascular fellowship training to enhance clinical skills.
- Work a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour day shifts and nighttime at-home call with in-house Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage.
- Participate in academic opportunities, including teaching medical students and residents and participating in national clinical research trials.
- Contribute to virtual neurology and tele-stroke services for regional facilities.
