KPMG is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to contribute to the International Tax practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice to multinational corporations on critical business choices, including entity selection, supply chain efficiency, and capital mobilization for international operations, while evaluating tax risk profiles and effective tax rates.
- Assist clients in grasping the short- and long-term tax consequences of global tax planning strategies, ensuring alignment with their business goals and financial health.
- Collaborate with Mergers & Acquisitions Tax specialists to structure the tax components of strategic transactions and prepare necessary tax documentation.
- Support the preparation of tax provisions for financial reporting and ensure adherence to tax compliance requirements for international operations.
- Advise on income tax treaty planning for cross-border investments and trading activities.
- Deliver specialized international tax guidance to alternative investment firms throughout the investment lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of experience in international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and federal tax planning.
- A Bachelor's degree along with relevant professional certifications (CPA, EA, JD/LLM).
- In-depth knowledge of both international and domestic tax regulations.
- Exceptional skills in research, writing, Excel modeling, and effective communication.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, mentor junior staff, and strengthen client relationships.
