$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.

Job Description

We seek an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will perform various radiographic procedures, position patients accurately, select technical parameters, implement radiation protection, and assist physicians in special procedures. You will also prepare and administer contrast media and medications according to accepted standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures using computed tomography (CT) and X-ray equipment.
  • Position patients correctly and select anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Assist physicians in special procedures, including preparing and administering contrast media and medications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credential from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date.
  • One or more certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire date.
  • A minimum of 2 years' cumulative experience or an Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
