Cornell University Hospital for Animals is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care, mentorship, and education to our diverse group of DVM students and house officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including routine and advanced technical skills, in a fast-paced ICU environment.
  • Mentor and educate DVM students and house officers on complex treatment plans and technical skills.
  • Collaborate with multiple specialty services, including cross-training opportunities.
  • Manage and care for a mix of primary and specialty cases, from critical trauma patients to routine care.
  • Teach and guide our diverse group of students and house officers through complex treatment plans and technical skill training.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution and NYS licensure.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
  • Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development.
