Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer. As a Traveling Sonographer, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and related accessories
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Conduct imaging procedures, including taking images and recording patient data
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Current ARDMS certification in Sonography
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
