Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Sonographer. As a Traveling Sonographer, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and related accessories
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
- Conduct imaging procedures, including taking images and recording patient data
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Current ARDMS certification in Sonography
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
