About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join its dynamic multi-disciplinary team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Cortica, you will play a vital role in delivering life-changing care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement speech and language treatment goals through comprehensive assessments and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as co-treats with other disciplines, to support children's communication development.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, considering individual sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
  • Collaborate with children, families, and team members to understand values, interests, and goals, and implement programming that addresses all aspects of child development.
  • Contribute to program development and educate patients, families, and team members on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • California state licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning and adapting to new approaches and technologies.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401Ks with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements, and referral bonuses. Compensation will be based on skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, within the range of $93,777.78 to $117,222.22.
