Job Overview

Avenue 360 Health and Wellness is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to join our team in the Southwest region. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients
  • Complete electronic medical records (EMR) required fields after each visit, including e-signing of notes
  • Assist in internal quality control audits and provide quality medical care according to Avenue 360 standards on quality assurance
  • Supervise medical assistants and lab personnel in area of specific support services for patient care delivery
  • Attend internal provider meetings, committees, as necessary, and/or required by Avenue 360
  • Perform all duties and services in full compliance with Joint Commission and funding source standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation and may be asked to participate in supervision of mid-level providers

Requirements:

  • Valid license to practice in the State of Texas
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Demonstrate special interest in community medicine and ability to relate to culturally diverse patients and community
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience
