Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kennel staff, you will be responsible for providing daily care and attention to our boarded animals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily Animal Care: Provide daily feeding, bathing, grooming, exercising, and monitoring of our boarded animals.
- Kennel Maintenance: Assist with cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the kennel area to ensure a clean and safe environment for our animals.
- Animal Monitoring: Monitor the behavior, health, and well-being of our boarded animals, reporting any changes or concerns to our veterinary team.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of animal care, including weight, physical condition, treatments received, medications given, and food intake.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our veterinary team, clients, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer service.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience working with animals preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer service attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
