Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a Staff Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the CVICU, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care that reflects assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of that plan.
- Ensure plan shows multidisciplinary planning, consultation, and education.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, i.e., planning, measuring/monitoring, assessing, and improving.
- Practice customer service standards as defined by the Service Area, Medical Center, and specified department.
- Provide an optimal patient care experience by actively listening to the needs of patients and family members and taking responsibility for meeting those identified needs.
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or completion of a Kaiser Permanente or equivalent CVICU course within past 12 months.
- License, Certification, Registration
This is a Part-time night shift position, 2-12hr shifts per week with every other weekend off.
