Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Execute various yard functions, supporting site operations and external carriers to ensure timely trailer arrivals and departures.
  • Operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on designated routes and within the yard to facilitate trailer movements.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and DOT regulations regarding vehicle operation.
  • Complete vehicle inspection reports and report any maintenance or delivery issues to management.
  • Maintain adherence to delivery schedules, track working hours, and follow safety protocols.
  • Engage in physical tasks, including lifting up to 49 pounds and maneuvering vehicles.
  • Work primarily outdoors and drive various commercial motor vehicles as required.
  • Serve as a peer trainer when necessary to support team development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds and engage in prolonged standing or walking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to enforcing safety measures for all vehicle operators.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
