Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical services and be able to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients
  • Assist surgeons in operative procedures
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program, or Medical School Graduate, or Allied Health professional having completed 2250 hours surgical rotation
  • Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) having completed 350 cases
  • Two years of experience within the last four years
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
