Dishroom Attendant

Schulman Theateres is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include washing and stocking wares to proper standards throughout the shift. You will be responsible for lifting racks of glassware, cutlery, fry baskets, pots, and pans from a holding area to the dish machine or three-compartment sink. You will also be responsible for scraping dishes into the disposal area and cycling the dirty dishes through the dish machine. Additionally, you will place clean glassware from the dish machine onto dollies and stock clean dishware on the cooks' line. You will also hang clean cooking utensils, pots, pans, and baskets on appropriate hooks throughout the kitchen. Furthermore, you will fill and change chemicals and soap used in the dish machine at a minimum of every 2 hours. You will also sort flatware into bins for proper cleaning and sanitizing. You will also empty trash into the dumpster. You will assist the management team in controlling food cost. You will observe the basic rules of kitchen safety, sanitation, and back door safety. You will utilize various cleaning chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). You will complete all running, opening, and closing side work. You will get checked out by management before leaving the building. You will provide friendly and competent customer service. You will report for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
