About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Underground Electrician to join our team at Nevada Gold Mines. As a key member of our Underground Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our underground equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment.
  • Install new electrical systems as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Underground Electrical Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of underground electrical experience.
  • High voltage experience is preferred.
  • Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background is preferred.
  • Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven track record of being a team player.
  • Exemplary safety performance and attendance record.
  • Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
