Job SummaryThe Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse RN will be responsible for performing special procedures in the outpatient room, including DSE, TEE's, Cardioversion's, and Tilt's. You will also transport patients to and from the Cath Lab, perform and document care for all admissions and recovery room patients, and administer medications using all routes as ordered.

- Administer medications using all routes as ordered
- Actively participate in continuing education on the unit
- Effectively communicate verbal and written information, instruction, or education to the patient, family members, and other members of the health care team as appropriate
- Serve as a liaison for the Cath Lab to promote physician, interdepartmental, and intra-departmental relationships
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
- At least one year ICU/CCU or comparable ER, cath lab, or recovery experience
