Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating survey maps and CAD drawings derived from field data, conducting field surveys, and gathering necessary information.
  • Develop and adjust detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings in accordance with project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with survey teams to guarantee precise and timely data acquisition.
  • Support senior technicians and engineers with various design and surveying tasks, both in the office and on-site.
  • Thoroughly document and maintain records of survey findings, ensuring project documentation is organized and accessible.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols throughout all tasks.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions and terrains.

Preferred Skills (Training Provided)

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D for tasks such as:
    • Processing survey data to create topographic surveys and terrain models.
    • Drafting legal descriptions and establishing boundaries for plat maps and other legal documents.
  • Knowledge of field data collection methods and procedures.
  • Experience with LiDAR data processing is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings for survey and construction staking data preparation.
  • Background in CADD related to civil engineering or land development projects.
