Job Title: Nurse Manager

At Inspira Health Network, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact patient care or staff morale.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing or actively pursuing one.
  • At least three years of progressive experience as a staff nurse or charge nurse in Surgical Services, M/S, OB, Peds, or ER as appropriate.
  • Current licensure of the State of New Jersey.
  • Knowledge and skills in management principles and clinical nursing skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, and staff members.
Physical Requirements:
  • Mental capacity to perform responsibilities.
  • Able to walk briskly, stand, and lean over.
  • Able to lift moderate weight.
  • Has quick reaction to prevent injury to patient or self.
