Traveling CT Imaging Specialist

Experience the nation through the lens of one of the largest imaging providers in the United States. RAYUS Radiology is seeking skilled CT Technologists to become part of our dedicated Travel Technologist team. As a RAYUS CT Technologist, you will be an integral member of our internal travel team, serving diverse markets nationwide. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Patient Imaging (80%):
    Conduct routine and advanced CT imaging procedures on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions with minimal supervision. Ensure patient safety by screening for any precautions or contraindications before examinations. Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, positioning them appropriately, and providing support throughout the imaging process. Generate diagnostic images in the assigned area and perform quality control tasks as needed. Adjust scan parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques when appropriate. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and family members as required. Adhere strictly to physicians' orders and safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and colleagues. Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and fellow associates. Accurately document patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Keep a clean and organized work area to promote safety for patients and coworkers. Uphold ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  2. Imaging Support (15%):
    Ensure equipment is well-maintained and clean; disinfect after each use. Assist in keeping the radiographic protocol manual updated. Monitor medical supply inventory levels.
  3. Additional Duties (5%):
    Perform other tasks as assigned.
