We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and leading design and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves guiding users in formulating requirements, advising on alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies. Your technical leadership will be instrumental in integrating requirements, design, and technology, ensuring the successful implementation of new plans, designs, and systems.

Clearance Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is mandatory for this role. Unfortunately, candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Seven (7) years' experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Detailed Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should possess strong Red Hat Linux background, experience setting up and managing Dell Servers and Cisco Nexus Switches, as well as expertise in Systems and Network Administration, including user authentication, network configuration, and management.

You should also have knowledge and experience with ssh, firewalls, VMWare, and ESX servers, familiarity with network hardware and configuration, routing requirements, mission hosting, and experience with domain name service, Network Time Protocols.

In addition, you should have experience with developing IP tables and RPMs, scripting languages like bash shell scripting, and maintaining multiple networks.

Desired Skills

Prior experience with RedHat Linux certification, Jira software, and Python is highly desirable.
