As a Collision Repair Estimator Specialist, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal by accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing comprehensive repair estimates.

About the Job:
This role involves conducting thorough visual inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and required repairs. You will then prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using estimating software and manual calculations. In addition, you will interact with customers to explain repair procedures, provide cost estimates, and address concerns. Your ability to communicate effectively with customers, insurance providers, and technicians is essential in ensuring seamless communication and timely repairs.

Responsibilities:
• Assess vehicle damage and prepare comprehensive repair estimates.
• Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures and provide cost estimates.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts for repairs.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and other team members regarding repair methods and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, repair details, and communication with customers and insurers.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in automotive estimating is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as an estimator, with a proven track record of providing accurate estimates and exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Detail-oriented with excellent precision and accuracy in estimating vehicle damage.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and insurance providers.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Estimated Salary:
$55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
