Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team. As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing clinical services, providing training and guidance to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and oversee clinical services, including individual and group therapy sessions, and provide guidance and support to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services, including training and education for staff and clients.
- Conduct regular clinical supervision meetings with provisionally licensed clinicians and interns, and provide feedback and guidance on their clinical work.
- Review and cosign clinical notes and reports, and ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and education to staff on clinical topics, including evidence-based practices and anti-racism and anti-oppression work.
- Engage in outreach and community education activities to promote the services and mission of My Place for Peace, LLC.
- Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health field, such as clinical psychology, social work, or counseling.
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting, including experience in supervision and training.
- Current licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
