Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with NY state regulations
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Provide referrals to specialists as needed
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or related specialization
  • Strong understanding of primary and preventive healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
