Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint Peter Hospital.

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in our 21-bed Medical-Surgical ICU, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and other life-sustaining therapies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify potential complications and take prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and decision-making responsibility.
