This is a full-time, on-site management role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities and productivity of the production team.
- Deliver leadership, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and training to team members.
- Assist in developing enhanced metrics for tracking both individual and team performance.
- Utilize ERP systems for effective production planning, scheduling, and inventory oversight.
- Ensure that parts are processed according to established procedures and specifications.
- Make informed decisions that align with company policies and production objectives.
- Train new hires on production methodologies and safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement efficient production techniques and resolve issues.
- Work alongside management to optimize resources, personnel, and equipment to achieve production targets.
Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or shop environments.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of CNC machinery, lathes, and forklift operations.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- U.S. person status is required for compliance with specific regulations.
