About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncology Dosimetrist to join our team. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in the treatment planning process for external beam photon treatment plans. You will work closely with our radiation oncologists and medical physicists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and see-through the treatment planning process for external beam photon treatment plans
  • Aid in special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning
  • Provide training to dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists, and affiliate trainees in dosimetry
  • Support and adhere to Baptist Health South Florida's safety and compliance program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a physical science or RTT
  • Graduate of a formal, JRCERT dosimetry program
  • M.Sc. preferred
  • Direct dosimetry experience and Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification required
  • RTT experience from an accredited radiation therapy technology program preferred
  • Experience with multiple treatment planning platforms, excellent communication skills, and leadership skills preferred
