Job Summary

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you will play a critical role in the success of our branch operations, utilizing front-end loaders to maneuver vehicles and equipment around our facilities in preparation for auction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate front-end loaders to move vehicles and equipment around the facility
  • Load and unload trucks delivering or picking up vehicles
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operating condition
  • Manage lot inventory of vehicles and parts
  • Document and record vehicle information, perform vehicle improvements, and light maintenance in preparation for sale
  • Assist visitors with guidance and advising them to the appropriate person for additional assistance
  • Maintain a safe work environment by reporting any violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands
  • Upbeat demeanor to ensure positive customer interactions
  • General mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment is a plus
  • Teamwork and communication skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift or front-end loader operating experience
  • Experience in the automotive and collision repair industry
Working Conditions
  • Primarily outdoor work in all types of weather
  • Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles
