Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
- Participate in advanced research projects, contributing to the development of new imaging techniques and protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment and arrange for repairs in the absence of the assistant manager.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions prior to the performance of the exam.
- Produce high-quality images, demonstrating a strong understanding of human anatomy and pathology.
Requirements:
- ARRT (CT) certification, earned within three months of hire for new graduates.
- Ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses.
- Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
