Manna Beverages and Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our production department.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment: Clean and sanitize all production equipment, including machines, overhead pipes, conveyors, and processing tanks.
- Floor Maintenance: Clean and scrub floors in the plant to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Waste Management: Transport trash and waste to the disposal area and maintain a clean work area.
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial trucks, floor scrubbers, balers, foamers, pressure washers, and other equipment as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months' work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications: Forklift certification required.
- Language Skills: English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
The physical demands of this job include frequent standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. The work environment is typically very loud, and the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
