Key Responsibilities- Perform Maintenance and Repair Tasks: Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Manage Tools and Materials: Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and in the proper location to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain Records and Logs: Maintain various logs including generator inspection, fire extinguisher inspection, utilities equipment, work orders, temperatures, and fire alarms to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Support Quality and Performance Improvement: Assist in assuring a safe and risk-preventative environment, use time constructively and in an organized manner, and adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel, and standard policies and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Address patients, visitors, and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner, and communicate with Senior Maintenance Technician and Facility Director for areas of concern and/or updating needs.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, and must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Employees work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels. May work in controlled temperature conditions, cold and hot temperatures, or inclement weather conditions. Exposure to chemicals, mechanical and electrical hazards, and hazardous physical substances and fumes.
