Job Description- The Quality Management System Specialist will be responsible for maintaining SiTime's quality management system used in the design and manufacturing of our revolutionary MEMS-based timing products. Responsibilities include maintaining various processes like internal audits, corrective actions, continuous improvements, non-conforming processes, customer notifications, and other applicable quality processes tied to the maintenance of a robust quality management system.
- This role does not require all job requirements to be met by the candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001) for the organization and prepare for compliance on other industry standards like IATF 16949/MIL PRF 55310 (as applicable).
- Manage documents and records control processes using existing tools and work with the Doc Control software company to enhance the functionality of the database and its application.
- Create an internal audit plan across all offices, perform audits, and track audit findings to closure.
- Develop a training platform/scheme to train internal teams on various aspects like ISO 9001 standards, performing internal audits, responses to corrective actions, FMEA's, PPAP's, etc.
- Own customer notification processes (PCN) for any product/process changes using customer requirements, JEDEC, and AECQ guidelines.
- Lead the material review board (MRB) to ensure non-conforming processes are robust.
- Champion the internal and supplier corrective action/continuous improvement process.
- Create and maintain metrics for processes and make decisions based on data.
- Automate internal processes to be efficient and effective.
- Own all KPIs for Operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum BS degree in electrical engineering, quality, or related technical discipline.
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management system processes.
- Knowledge of CMOS and MEMS devices is a plus.
- Expert-level knowledge in ISO 9001 and applicable JEDEC standards like JEDEC 46, etc. is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency with structured problem-solving methodologies.
