We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Radiology Technologist to join our team at Saint Agnes Medical Center Careers. As a key member of our cardiovascular radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography.
- Provide patient care and physician assistance during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, and math principles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular radiology and technology.
- Graduate of a two-year accredited program in Radiology Technology.
- Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Cardiac Radiology Technologist.
- Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) with Fluoroscopy permit.
- American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be able to lift and move equipment as needed, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) during procedures.
