Field Design Engineer

Job Summary:

OSI Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Field Design Engineer to join our team. As a Field Design Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating cellular technologies in the field, performing log analysis, and debugging issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field testing and validation of cellular technologies, including testing of next-generation devices
  • Perform log analysis and debug issues related to cellular technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for field testing
  • Communicate technical issues and findings to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in end-to-end testing of cellular, wireless, satellite, or Bluetooth technologies
  • Field and/or lab testing experience with cellular, SATCOM, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth technologies
  • Ability to walk in city limits and hike outdoors while performing field testing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills, with a focus on detail-oriented work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scripting skills in Python

Working Conditions:

  • 100% onsite work in Cupertino, CA
  • 12+ month duration
  • Pay range: $50-$60/HR (DOE)
