Electrical Upfitter

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Upfitter to join our team at Transdev. As an Electrical Upfitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles by performing limited repairs and troubleshooting of low voltage electrical systems.

• Perform limited repairs and troubleshooting of low voltage electrical systems with minimal supervision.
• Maintain records of all work completed on vehicles, including parts and supplies used.
• Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
• Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required.
• Adhere to Transdev standards, policies, and procedures.
• Repair and maintain all shop equipment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable using hand tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Maintain an organized shop and clean work environment.

• Maintenance shop environment with dust, dirt, and grease conditions.
• Ability to work under all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a crouched position or on back, lying on mechanic's creeper.
