Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our team at our new manufacturing facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for implementing robust financial controls, providing financial leadership, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and provide insights to management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Financial Controls and Compliance
    • Implement and maintain effective financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Leadership and Collaboration
    • Provide financial leadership and guidance to site management and staff.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and customers.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Develop and maintain financial metrics and benchmarks to measure performance and drive improvement.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
