Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Altium Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves, and pumps
  • Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless production operations
Requirements
  • Basic mathematical skills and basic computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • OSHA Forklift certification
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
