Job Description

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is a leading provider of acute inpatient rehabilitation services with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and contribute to the recovery of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities in adult and geriatric patients.
  • Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
  • Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
  • Minimum of six months experience working with an adult and geriatric population.
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Current CPR certification.
