As the Clinical Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of the Wound and Hyperbaric Institute.

Your responsibilities will include managing clinical operations, staffing, and training, while serving as a liaison between physicians, hospital staff, and departments, reporting directly to the Clinic Director and designated hospital leadership.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients, utilizing advanced treatment modalities, engaging in patient and family education, and providing leadership by collaborating with ancillary departments and other healthcare personnel to uphold professional nursing standards in the clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Institute Director, you will:
1. Supervise, manage, train, and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
2. Direct and assess nursing care provided to patients within the Wound Healing Institute.
3. Collaborate with the Safety Director to address patient needs during hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
4. Develop and implement educational initiatives for physicians and staff regarding wound care best practices.
5. Provide the Institute Director with necessary operational reports.
6. Contribute to the evaluation process and assist the Institute Director in maintaining employee records.
7. Manage patient flow and ensure timely coordination with ancillary departments.
8. Assess patient conditions and nursing requirements; establish goals and implement appropriate actions to achieve those goals.
9. Perform case management duties and maintain concurrent documentation in the electronic medical record.
10. Offer guidance and skill development for staff members.
11. Demonstrate knowledge of advanced modalities in wound care.
12. Exhibit the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
13. Showcase strong leadership and team-building skills.

Adaptability to fluctuating patient flow schedules, effective communication with physicians, and functioning efficiently in an outpatient setting are essential.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Extensive experience in nursing leadership, managing nursing staff, and working in an outpatient wound care environment utilizing advanced modalities.
Licensure and Certification:
- Valid state-issued Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
Required Competencies:
- Procedure-driven approach to patient care, ensuring safety and timeliness.
- Conduct initial assessments for all new patients.
- Provide efficient and timely case management.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications.
- Proven leadership abilities in guiding nursing staff.
- Successfully complete required medical screenings, background checks, and drug tests.
