We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse to provide exceptional patient care in the Endoscopy department.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, with experience in endoscopy being highly preferred. They will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities- Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the actual and potential diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and transitions in care.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification or obtain within one month of hire.
- Strong clinical skills, with endoscopy experience being highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The estimated salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
