Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience and potential incentives.

Job Description

As a Store Manager at Monro, you will provide daily leadership to all positions within the store, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Store Managers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing sales and technical teammates to deliver exceptional guest experiences;
  • Ensuring sales goals are achieved through the development and implementation of sales plans, thorough knowledge of services and products, and effective communication with guests;
  • Maintaining a productive sales environment by training and developing teammates on shop operations and guest services;
  • Providing direction and oversight to other technicians and assisting with services and repairs as needed;
  • Managing payroll, telephone usage, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other controllable expenses to ensure expense control;
  • Auditing courtesy inspections performed by teammates and maintaining a clean and organized store environment;
  • Scheduling guest appointments and assigning teammates according to their skill level for timely completion of vehicle services and repairs;
  • Attending to all guest needs in areas of sales, service, complaints, and adjustments;
  • Building guest relationships to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention;
  • Assisting teammates in conveying repair and service needs to guests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail or sales environment;
  • Proven ability to manage, drive, and deliver financial results while controlling costs;
  • Ability to influence and motivate a team to achieve set goals and objectives;
  • Ability to problem-solve, manage inventory, merchandising, and customer service;
  • Effective communication skills to interact with teammates and guests;
  • A current valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role operates in an automotive shop environment, exposing you to moderate noise levels, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.

You must be able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and perform tasks that require frequent standing, walking, reaching overhead, and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
