We are seeking an experienced Acupuncturist to join our team at Psychiatric Care Associates. As a key member of our wellness-focused organization, you will work closely with our psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive acupuncture services to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position requiring approximately 3-4 hours on Sunday. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering acupuncture treatments and be certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Responsibilities- Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single-use needles to address patient complaints
- Evaluate effects of treatments by observing and noting patient progress
- Document patient treatments by charting in records
- Educate patients on the benefits of consistent acupuncture care
- Provide a recommended course of treatment
- Certification by the NCCAOM
- Master's Degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
- Current Acupuncture license in New Jersey
- Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Able to lift 39 pounds
