Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acupuncturist to join our team at Psychiatric Care Associates. As a key member of our wellness-focused organization, you will work closely with our psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive acupuncture services to our patients.

About the Role

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 3-4 hours on Sunday. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering acupuncture treatments and be certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

Responsibilities
  • Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single-use needles to address patient complaints
  • Evaluate effects of treatments by observing and noting patient progress
  • Document patient treatments by charting in records
  • Educate patients on the benefits of consistent acupuncture care
  • Provide a recommended course of treatment
Requirements
  • Certification by the NCCAOM
  • Master's Degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
  • Current Acupuncture license in New Jersey
  • Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 39 pounds
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
