Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team. This role is responsible for delivering essential products to our customers, ensuring safe work practices, and embracing our safety culture.

About the Role

This is a Part-Time opportunity working 10:00am-3:00pm/Sunday-Thursday. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of one of the following five areas:

  • Order Picker: Accurately pick and prepare customer orders within daily production goals while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Restocker: Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep your work area for the next shift while maintaining safety standards.
  • Bulk Selector: Select product, pull, and pack totes, cut cases of merchandise, and stock product while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Custodian:

You will be responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming, removing spots from carpet, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and dusting chairs, partition walls, and other furniture, cleaning windows and brass, and collecting and removing trash from the warehouse while upholding safety procedures.

Requirements
  • Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
  • If hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need.
  • An ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food, stockroom, working with racking systems, customer service, package handling, etc.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive pay rate of $20.75/hour and a comprehensive benefits package for both Full-Time and Part-Time associates.
