About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul of equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices
  • Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities, including diagnosing equipment malfunction and operating deficiencies
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills
  • Maintain accurate records of work history and process job tickets and work orders
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED
  • EPA certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes
