Job Overview

Position Title: Golf Course Maintenance - Groundskeeper

Compensation: Non-exempt, hourly

Department: Exeter Township - Golf Course Maintenance


Position Summary:

Exeter Township is in search of dedicated and dependable individuals to support the golf season, which generally spans from spring through late autumn. The ideal candidates should have a passion for outdoor work, enjoy engaging with the public, possess knowledge of golf regulations, and demonstrate a commitment to assisting with various golf course upkeep tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular upkeep of greens, bunkers, and wooded areas
  • General landscaping responsibilities on a daily basis
  • Support during aeration days and minor construction projects

Work Environment:

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to perform duties in varying weather conditions

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to pass background checks

Prior experience in golf course maintenance or general landscaping for six months is preferred. Comprehensive training will be provided.
